My name is Nilam
An artist, designer, craftsman, researcher, or whatever you wanna call it
I was born in my hometown, Jakarta, Indonesia, in the summer of 1994. Shortly after, my family moved to Tokyo, Japan, where I fell in love with robots.
I grew up in many places around the world—Japan, Indonesia, Austria, and Singapore. I got my Bachelor's of Fine Art at Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, MD, The US and pursued a Master's of Fine Art in Toronto, ON, Canada. Currently stationed in Jakarta for a break and looking for short term work and residency opportunity.
My goal is to never stop learning, never stop questioning.
